Are Schminka cosmetics really developed and produced in the Czech Republic?
Yes, Schminka cosmetics have their home in our production company Golden Line s.r.o. in Horky u Čáslav, where development is also taking place.
Are your cosmetics really made by hand?
Where possible (wax casting, lip balm production, cosmetics base production, label gluing...), we mainly use the manual labor of our production team.
Why are there mandalas on your cosmetics?
Mandalas have been created by MUDr. Jana Cibulková, who is the founder of the production company Golden Line s.r.o. and Schminka cosmetics, and who is also the developer of all our products. The main message of mandalas on cosmetics is to convey good mood and happiness.
How do Wet&Dry cosmetics work?
Wet&Dry cosmetics have a baked (BAKED) texture, which makes it possible to use them both dry and wet. When you use a wet applicator (or finger) during makeup, the color will be visibly enhanced and in some cases even more metallic. BAKED Wet&Dry powders can then be used as very light make-up after soaking.
Why do you produce cosmetics in pearl form?
Many of us remember that our mothers and grandmothers had pearl powders and blushes. At the same time, it is an assortment that is very difficult to obtain. (And that's mainly because the production of pearls is really quite demanding.) Last but not least, makeup with pearl powders evokes a feeling of affordable luxury in most of us. Since Mrs. MUDr. Jana Cibulková doesn't stop at any big challenge, years ago she decided to try to make her own pearl powders that would meet her high demands on pigmentation and functionality. Once she succeeded, she included them in the permanent assortment.
How does custom cosmetics assembly work?
At the Schminka e-shop, you can put together a pearl powder or a palette of four eye shadows directly tailored to your needs. For pearls, you just need to choose one or more colors of pearls and add a metal packaging, which we sell separately, to the shopping cart. At home, you then mix the amount of pearls according to the color shade you want to achieve. Alternatively, depending on what final function the pearl powder has to fulfill. (Light highlighter, bronzer, powder, blush...)
For the quattro Wet&Dry eyeshadow palettes, just add four MINI eyeshadows to your basket. You get the packaging for them for free from us, so you don't have to buy it separately.
NOTE: MINI eyeshadows in quattro palettes do not have a metal pan, so they cannot be inserted into empty magnetic palettes.
What if I make a mistake during the order?
This can happen sometimes. As soon as you realize your mistake, contact us either on our e-mail or write us a message on our social networks and we will pass the matter on for resolution. If a colleague notices a problem while completing the order, she will contact you immediately and try to successfully resolve the situation with you.
Why is it taking so long to process my order?
In exceptional cases, it is necessary to additionally manufacture an item from your order, so its processing may take a little longer. But the short wait is definitely worth it for a brand new piece of cosmetics that was made just for you, don't you think?
Are you planning to expand your product range?
Since we make our own cosmetics, we have a lot of room for creating new products. Thanks to this, we can continue to expand the offer now and in the future. But we won't tell you what it will be yet.
